Honda HRC rider Jake Dixon has successfully undergone surgery at The Avenue Hospital in Melbourne (Australia) to treat multiple fractures to his left wrist and hand, sustained in a crash last Tuesday during the second day of the official WorldSBK testing at Phillip Island.
Following an initial medical assessment at the circuit, Dixon was transported to Melbourne, where further examinations confirmed the need for surgical intervention to stabilise the fractures.
The procedure was completed successfully without complications. Further assessment in the coming weeks will help to clarify the timeline for Dixon’s recovery.
The Honda HRC team will provide further updates on Jake Dixon’s condition in due course.
