New AA-rated Cypher armoured hoodie from Duchinni™ Youth blends everyday comfort and style with grown-up motorcycle protection.
Ask most young riders what they would choose to wear and the answer is likely to be a hoodie. The new Cypher from Duchinni™ Youth – the first motorcycle clothing brand exclusively for younger road riders – is exactly that; with proper motorcycle protection built in.
The outer is a heavy-duty cotton fleece, with elasticated ribbed cuffs and hem and a kangaroo pocket at the front, so it feels just like the one they live in at weekends. Inside, a mesh overlay covers the lining to keep things comfortable, so it’s easy to pull on and remove.
Like all Duchinni™ clothing, the Cypher is made to the same high standards as adult riding gear. It’s certified to EN17092-3:2020 AA, with a full 250gsm aramid fibre lining beneath the fleece and a complete set of CE-approved armour fitted as standard: Level 2 shoulder and elbow protectors, plus a Level 1 back protector; all removable so the Cypher can be washed.
Protective clothing only does its job when it’s being worn, and youngsters are far more likely to keep something on when it feels like their own clothes. For the grown-ups, there’s peace of mind in knowing that the relaxed look comes with the same certified protection they would look for in their own riding jacket.
