It works with all types of 12V lead-acid powersport batteries, including STD (with filler caps), AGM, GEL (sealed VRLA), deep cycle and EFB. It can also be used to charge 24V vehicles with 2 x 12V batteries fitted, adding to its versatility.
Totally automatic and fully protected against user errors, the OptiMate 3 Dual Bank tests both batteries’ state of health, diagnoses and repairs sulphated units, and can even save neglected batteries from as low as 2 Volts.
Designed to be connected for extended periods, it won’t overcharge and is completely safe for sensitive vehicle electronics – there’s automatic shut-down if it’s short-circuited or the battery is disconnected.
