Motogp To Stage First Immersive London Watch Party At The Uk’s Most Visited AttractioMotoGP will bring the Dutch Grand Prix to the heart of London on June 28 with the sport’s first public watch party, transforming the Outernet into a full immersive race-day experience.

Created in partnership with TNT Sports, the activation will see fans surrounded by 360-degree race coverage across Europe’s largest digital screens, paired with state-of-the-art audio to recreate the speed, intensity and atmosphere of one of MotoGP’s most iconic races at the TT Circuit Assen.

The event will be the first of a number of MotoGP activations at Outernet and across the UK this summer to help build momentum and awareness ahead of the British Grand Prix at Silverstone on August 8 & 9, giving fans in the UK a new way to connect with the sport in the lead-up to the home race.

Open to the public throughout the day, the experience will combine live race coverage with exclusive MotoGP content, giving fans and newcomers a new way to experience the championship. The Grand Prix gets underway at 1pm BST, with programming across Outernet’s screens showcasing the extreme lean angles, speed and raw energy that define MotoGP to visitors throughout the day.

The Outernet is the UK’s most visited attraction, welcoming millions of visitors each month and attracting around 120 million annually. Located in the heart of central London, on the doorstep of Tottenham Court Road – London’s busiest Underground station – Outernet provides a unique stage for one of the most exciting races on the MotoGP calendar.

Kelly Brittain, Managing Director of Global Marketing at MotoGP, said: “This is about reimagining how fans experience MotoGP. Outernet gives us the opportunity to take the sport beyond the circuit and into the heart of a global city, creating a fully immersive environment where fans can feel the speed, intensity and emotion of race day in a completely new way. It’s an exciting step in how we continue to grow MotoGP’s reach and connect with new audiences in an important market.”

Scott Young, EVP, Warner Bros. Discovery Sports Europe, said: “As the official broadcaster of MotoGP in the UK, we’re delighted to partner with MotoGP and Outernet to give fans a unique way to experience the Dutch Grand Prix in London. MotoGP consistently delivers some of the most spectacular and unpredictable action in global sport, and this event is a great example of how we can bring that excitement to audiences beyond the traditional broadcast.

“Whether you’re a lifelong fan or discovering the championship for the first time, the Outernet watch party will showcase the incredible skill, speed and drama that make MotoGP such a compelling spectacle. In turn, this will help build anticipation for the British Grand Prix at Silverstone in August which we are privileged to broadcast to millions of people across the UK via our channels and platforms.”

Rowena Maddock, Commercial Director, Experiential, Events & Venue at Outernet, said: “MotoGP is a sport built on speed, spectacle and emotion, making it a natural fit for Outernet. We’re thrilled to partner with MotoGP and TNT Sports to showcase how immersive technology can transform live sport into a world building experience, bringing the excitement of race day to fans in the heart of London and beyond.”

More than just a watch party, the Assen takeover marks the first time MotoGP has delivered a large-scale immersive race-viewing experience for its fans. By bringing fans together beyond the circuit, MotoGP is extending the race-day experience into one of the world’s most technologically advanced entertainment destinations.

Following the watch party in June, MotoGP comes to the iconic Silverstone circuit on 7-9 August – tickets available here.
