Phoenix Motorcycle Training Expands Its Southwest NetworkPhoenix Motorcycle Training has acquired Ace Motorcycle Training, expanding its operations in the Southwest, and bringing the total of its UK motorcycle training centres to 28.

Phoenix Motorcycle Training, the UK’s largest and highest rated motorcycle training provider, has acquired Bristol-based Ace Motorcycle Training, bringing the total number of Phoenix centres across the UK to 28.

The new sites offer riders across Bristol and Somerset more choice of where to train close to home. They are run with the Phoenix ethos of friendly, high-quality instruction and the highest standards of rider safety at the heart of operations.

Learners will also have access to wide range of support such as the new Pocket Rider Mindset Coach to give them the best opportunity to become skilled and confident riders.

Phoenix completed the acquisition on 1 October 2026, bringing three Ace training sites into the Phoenix network:

  • Kingswood, serving east Bristol and South Gloucestershire
  • Keynsham, between Bristol and Bath
  • Wells, serving Somerset

All new Phoenix centres offer a full range of training from taster days and CBTs to full licence and advanced riding training.

The new Phoenix centres will build on Ace’s already strong local reputation and Ace instructors will join the Phoenix team, so customers can expect the same focus on rider safety, confidence and test success.

The two operations will be co-branded, so the Ace name stays alongside Phoenix at Kingswood, Keynsham and Wells. Riders will keep the local school they know, now backed by the wider Phoenix network.

“We’re delighted to welcome Ace Motorcycle Training into the Phoenix family,” said Mark Jaffe, owner and chief instructor of Phoenix Motorcycle Training.

“Ace shares our commitment to safety-first, high-quality training. Kingswood, Keynsham and Wells fit naturally alongside our existing Southwest schools, and together we can give even more riders a great start on two wheels.”
