Southern 100 Road Races: With the chequered flag having fallen on another memorable Isle of Man Steam Packet Company Southern 100 Road Races, Southern 100 Racing is already looking ahead to next year and is delighted to confirm the dates for its 2027 race meetings.
The Blackford Financial Services Pre-TT Classic Road Races will take place over Friday 28th, Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th May 2027, once again bringing together an outstanding line-up of classic racing machinery and competitors from across the British Isles and beyond.
The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company Southern 100 Road Races will then return to the Motor Isle Billown Course from Monday 12th to Thursday 15th July 2027, continuing one of the most popular road race meetings in the British Isles.
Southern 100 Chairman George Peach said:
“Following another fantastic week of racing around the Motor Isle Billown Course, we’re delighted to confirm our 2027 dates. Announcing them now allows competitors, teams, officials, marshals, sponsors and supporters to make their plans well in advance. We look forward to welcoming everyone back next May and July for two more memorable meetings.”
Fans planning to attend the 2027 Isle of Man Steam Packet Company Southern 100 Road Races are encouraged to register their interest in travelling with title sponsor the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company. By registering, supporters will be among the first to hear when travel bookings for the 2027 Southern 100 become available. Fans who register interest before 1st September will also be entered into a draw to win a £200 Steam Packet travel voucher.

What are the Southern 100 Road Races
The Isle of Man, famous as the ‘mecca of motorcycle road racing’ has since 1955 hosted a mass-start road race every July, The Southern 100 Road Races, so called as the feature race of the event was held over a race distance of 100 miles – 24 laps of the 4.25-mile Billown Course.
Over the years since 1955 the Billown Course has become as familiar as the back of the hand to the riders who have graced the ribbon of road that makes up the Southern 100 Course, based on the outskirts of Castletown.
Future British and indeed World Champions have raced around the undulating and technical course as they have headed for the chequered flag.
