Sidelined BSB Superbike rookie Scott Swann fights back with 2026 privateer Superstock 1000 entry, backed by new title sponsor – Rosewood Bespoke Joinery.
The 2025 runner up in the BSB R&G Rising Star award, Northern Ireland’s Scott Swann, has announced his entry into the 2026 Superstock 1000 championship, as a privateer. Following a difficult winter of being offered multiple opportunities followed by closing doors, Scott has accepted that he will not be re-joining the superbike grid for the start of the 2026 season but will still be out racing, with a return to Superstock 1000 on a Honda, run by his own Swann Racing Team. For 2026 Scott is backed by a new title sponsor, Rosewood Bespoke Joinery.
Team Swann Racing was highly successful in this class on a Honda CBR back in 2024, with 3rd place in the championship, 5 race wins, 7 podiums and 2 lap records. This success earned Scott the opportunity to race in BSB with Team Send My Bag by IWR Racing. Scott had a fantastic rookie BSB year in 2025 but, sadly, for commercial reasons, this early show of talent has not transferred into a repeat BSB ride in 2026. A summary of Scott’s 2025 performance highlights is:
- Finished 28 of the 33 races.
- Of the 28, 19 finishes were in the points (top 15).
- 2 best placed finishes of 11th
- 4 races finished within 10 seconds of the winner.
- Best qualifying of 8th place only 1.3s off pole.
- At every round bar 1, qualified less than 1.5s off pole.
In 2026 Scott will race a Rosewood supported and privately entered Honda Fireblade CBR1000RR-R SP Superstock bike. With race winning potential at every round, Scott has a very real title chance and concurrently, it places him in the eyes of those who matter, should a BSB superbike opportunity crop up with any team, through injury or other circumstances. Scott’s personal sponsor Chamois Consulting has stepped in to purchase a new Honda race machine and his other sponsors and mentors will be supporting him in various ways.
Rosewood Bespoke Joinery, Managing Director – Kirk Jamison said: “We are delighted to be back on board with Scott for 2026 and excited to promote Rosewood Bespoke Joinery as his title sponsor. Whilst Rosewood Bespoke Joinery is based in Co Tyrone, the majority of our work is around the London area with high end clients in the hospitality and retail sectors. The coverage Scott will give us UK wide is perfect for further promoting our brand to more potential clients via both media coverage and the attendance at events throughout the year. Scott is an exciting young rider who gives a lot back to his sponsors, hopefully with our help he can lift the British Superstock title in 2026 and move back to the Superbike grid in 2027.”
Scott Swann said: “this is not quite where we wanted to be in 2026 as my goal was to return to the superbike grid and build on my performance from last season. But, now we’ve made the decision to return to Superstock with our own team, I’m getting very excited about the opportunity to be on the top step of the podium once again, and to showcase what I know I’m capable of, to the wider paddock audiences. I know I can win races and that’s what all team owners want to see, and at 23 years old I have plenty of time to shine enough to put myself back on a superbike and continue my career path. This absolutely isn’t a step back – it’s simply a different step forward and I’m now fully fired up to make it happen”.
Scott added: “now, more than ever, I’d like to thank the small team of exceedingly loyal personal sponsors who have all dug deep to help make this work for me, plus a few new ones who have come onboard to help us. In Particular, Rosewood Bespoke Joinery who have taken the title position. When you are running and paying for your own team like this, personal support becomes absolutely critical and I’m truly grateful to each and every one of them. Of course, there is always room for more support so if anyone wants to join me on this exciting journey, please do get in touch! I look forward to seeing all my supporters at the events in 2026 – please do keep following what I’m doing trackside and online – it means so much to me, thank you.”
