Josh Brookes To Ride Uggly & Co Racing Suzuki In Supersport Class At Tt 2026Isle of Man TT Races: Josh Brookes to ride Uggly & Co Racing Suzuki in Supersport Class at TT 2026

Long-time supporters of the TT paddock, Uggly & Co have agreed a deal with Australian rider Josh Brookes to contest the two Monster Energy Supersport races for the newly formed race team. The 42-year-old will compete on one of the ‘next generation’ Suzuki GSX-R750 machines across the four-lap races, marking a significant new chapter for the brand on the Mountain Course.

Previous racing collaborations have seen the brand provide premium motorsport apparel for leading outfits including TAS Racing, Milwaukee Ducati and Carl Cox Motorsport, alongside rider partnerships with Davey Todd, Tim Reeves and James Hind. Away from the paddock, Uggly & Co. are also well known to fans for their viewing facilities at Black Dub, the fast left-right sequence just before Glen Helen on the TT Course.

2026 marks their first foray into running a team at the Isle of Man TT, but with Brookes leading the effort, they have an excellent chance of making an immediate impression at this year’s event. The Australian brings extensive Supersport pedigree and proven adaptability on the Mountain Course. where experience and precision are critical.

Brookes has built a strong TT record in the Supersport class, with six top ten finishes to date. His best results include a brace of sixth-place finishes in 2018 aboard the McAMS Yamaha, where he also set a personal best lap of 126.602mph. More recently, he secured fifth and sixth in the 2024 races on the Jackson Racing powered by Prosper2 Honda, recording a best lap of 125.950mph on the CBR600RR. His consistency and outright speed underline his capability to challenge at the sharp end.

Earlier in his career, Brookes claimed the 2004 Australian Supersport Championship and a World Supersport victory on home soil as a wildcard, before finishing third overall in the 2008 World Championship. That foundation, combined with his TT experience, positions him well for this latest challenge.

Brookes and Uggly & Co Racing will run a distinctive livery for their debut campaign, drawing inspiration from the golden era of motorcycle racing. Influenced by the iconic designs of the 1980s and 1990s, the look pays tribute to legends such as Kevin Schwantz, riders who defined “cool” without ever chasing it. Blending past and present, the livery reflects true racing heritage while pushing Uggly & Co forward with a modern identity unmistakably styled from the past.

Josh Brookes said: “It’s a new project but an exciting one and having made my TT debut on a Suzuki back in 2013 I have high hopes for the GSX750 on the Mountain Course. Although we are a new team, we’ve got some good people involved so we hope to keep building on the package and my confidence as we get more time on the bike and then see what we can do at the TT.”

Al Morris, Uggly&Co Racing Team Owner added: “This is a hugely exciting project for us this year. As a brand born from road racing, this has always been where we wanted to take things. From day one, Uggly&Co has been built on supporting racing, travelling the country, showing up at events, backing grassroots lads and dads as well as experienced champions. Motorcycling is all about camaraderie and community, and getting more involved in that is something we’re proud of. We’ve supported many riders since the beginning, so it means a lot to continue that journey with Josh after backing him personally in 2024.”

Switching to the Suzuki GSX-R750 represents a fresh approach for Brookes, he has proven his versatility and adaptability in previous TT campaigns and with the next generation Supersport machines very much in the ascendancy, he’ll be confident of improving upon both his previous speeds and results. The entry signals both ambition and progression for Uggly & Co., moving from valued paddock supporters to a competitive team outfit.

There are very few sporting events in the world with the tradition, heritage, and prestige of the Isle of Man TT Races. Despite being the world’s oldest continuous motorsports event, the TT remains, however, as fascinating and relevant today – continuously inspiring new generations of riders to come and race the Mountain Course.

Largely unchanged since 1911, the 37.73 miles of public roads simply capture the imagination like no other motorcycling venue can. The TT Course, whilst difficult to learn, is even harder to master – requiring immense levels of skill and concentration as speeds nudge an incredible 200mph.
