Knox have introduced their first ever range of technical base layers styled and cut specifically for women. Created in the company’s London Design Studio and made in their Lake District factory, the new Dry Inside collection redefines the look, feel and functionality of women’s base layers.
Using a revolutionary fabric technology called MerinoPerform™ Advantage – a combination of super soft Australian Merino wool and fast drying synthetic fibres – Dry Inside moves vapour and sweat away from the body quickly, keeping the wearer cool on spring/summer days and warm through the chill of autumn/winter.
Australian Merino is amongst the finest and lightest wool available, so it’s soft and comfortable next to the skin. It has a silky outer layer, so it won’t itch or irritate like some wool and synthetic fabrics, and has a natural resistance to the bacteria that causes odour.
Merino’s natural properties and elasticity means that the garments keep their shape, drape naturally and won’t ‘cling’. All Dry Inside garments feature soft seam construction too, for added comfort.
Combined with the new Knox Armoured Shirt for Women – a lightweight, stretchy and breathable shirt with Knox Lite + CE-approved protectors on the shoulders and elbows, and a Level 1 CE-approved back protector too – Dry Inside offers complete climate control, comfort and protection whilst riding.
Alongside motorcycling, the collection is designed to work for a variety of outdoor activities, including jogging, skiing, cycling and hiking, in all seasons and climates. They’re also styled so they can be worn as casual apparel.
The Darcy short sleeve top is £49.99 including VAT and the long-sleeve Clara, which has feminine splits at the side that can also be tied, is £54.99. Unisex Jesse shorts are £29.99 and Jamie trousers are £49.99. Call 01900 825825 or visit www.planet-knox.com to view the complete collection
