Lightweight, hiking-style riding boots from LS2 combine certified protection with all-day comfort; on the bike and long after you’ve parked it
Most riding boots are built for the bike and merely tolerated off it; the walk to the café, round the race paddock or to the viewpoint becomes an uncomfortable clump.
Taking the comfort and spec of a hiking boot, and adding the certified protection needed on the bike, LS2’s new Trekker offers peace of mind riding, and the comfort to keep walking long after you’ve stopped.
Comfort starts underfoot, with an ergonomic, sweat-absorbing insole and a dual-density outsole. The lightweight Ripstop and polyester mesh upper keeps bulk down, and a premium mesh cuff around the ankle avoids rubbing and pressure points; so the Trekker feels as natural on a day’s sightseeing as it does on a day in the saddle.
LS2’s patented SPINON lacing system tightens the boot evenly for a snug and secure fit in seconds, and releases instantly. It makes the Trekker super easy to get on and off; helped by an easy-on puller at the heel. Small touches that make a big difference at the end of a long ride.
Built for four seasons, the Trekker is waterproof to 10,000mm H2O, combined with 6,000g/m²/24h breathability to keep rain out without sealing perspiration in. Oil-resistant, non-slip rubber on the sole provides sure-footed grip on wet pavements and muddy paths, as well as a firm footing on the pegs.
The abrasion-resistant Ripstop outer shell is backed up by TPU reinforcement, with extra strengthening at the toe, heel and gear-change area, and an integrated IPA ankle protector for impact resistance. Reflective strips on the sides and heel boost visibility in low light; on two wheels or two feet.
Certified to CE Level 1, (under the official European safety standard for protective footwear worn by motorcycle riders), the LS2 Trekker is available in EU sizes 39-47 (UK 5-12), in a choice of Black or Green, priced at £139.99 including VAT.
