MV Agusta Brutale 800: Brutally Fun
The Brutale 800 represents the natural continuation of the iconic Brutale lineage, embodying the purest expression of MV Agusta’s naked sports DNA.
Conceived as the gateway into the MV Agusta universe, the Brutale 800 combines agility, performance, and design excellence in a way that only MV Agusta can deliver. Nimble, fast, and exhilarating to ride, it is a motorcycle engineered to ignite emotions while showcasing the brand’s signature attention to detail and craftsmanship.
ENGINE
At the heart of the Brutale 800 lies MV Agusta’s renowned 798 cc three-cylinder engine, now Euro5+ compliant. This compact yet powerful unit delivers 113 hp at 11,000 rpm and 85 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm. Its counter-rotating crankshaft, derived from MotoGP technology, enhances agility and handling, ensuring a thrilling, responsive riding experience. A 6-speed gearbox equipped with Electronic Assisted Shift (EAS) up and down provides seamless gear changes, adding both precision and adrenaline to every ride. Engine mapping has been optimized for Euro5+ homologation standards, increasing peak power, and without sacrificing the iconic Brutale soundtrack, thanks to the unmistakable triple-pipe exhaust system that continues to define the model’s distinctive character.
CHASSIS
The Brutale 800 features MV Agusta’s signature high-performance steel trellis frame, ensuring exceptional rigidity and handling precision. The Marzocchi front fork, 43 mm in diameter and 125 mm in travel, is fully adjustable for preload, compression, and rebound damping, while the Sachs rear monoshock with 130 mm travel offers the same level of fine-tuning for personalized performance. Braking performance is guaranteed by new Brembo M4.32 front calipers with 320 mm floating discs, complemented by a Brembo rear caliper and 220 mm disc. Both brake and clutch pumps are supplied by Nissin, ensuring consistent performance and reliability. The Brutale 800 rides on Bridgestone S22 tires (120/70 front, 180/55 rear) mounted on 17-inch cast aluminum wheels, delivering superior grip and confidence on every road. As always, the single-sided swingarm, an MV Agusta signature design element, remains a hallmark of style and engineering excellence.
TECHNOLOGY
Cutting-edge electronics define the Brutale 800. A 6-axis IMU monitors all riding parameters, managing traction control, cornering ABS, and rear lift mitigation (RLM) for optimal stability and safety. Four riding modes (Rain, Sport, Race and Custom) allow full customization of throttle response, power delivery, and traction settings via ride-by-wire throttle control. The rider interacts through a 5.5-inch TFT display offering Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, cruise control, and full integration with the MV Ride App. The new Advanced Connectivity Device, standard on the Brutale 800, includes an integrated anti-theft system, geolocation, and emergency SMS function, providing both peace of mind and cutting-edge safety. The LED front headlight with cornering function and DRL underline the Brutale’s unmistakable design language, combining beauty, functionality, and technology.
DESIGN
The Brutale 800 retains the timeless design that has made this model an icon for riders worldwide. From the drop-shaped LED headlight to the see-through rear frame, the triple exhaust layout, and the single-sided swingarm, every detail contributes to a sculpted, muscular look that perfectly blends performance and artistry. The 2026 edition debuts in the exclusive Rosso Ago Opaco (Matt) color scheme, enhancing its aggressive and refined presence.
