RST Brushed Motorcycle Shirt for Ladies

The RST Moto Brushed Textile ladies shirt is just as much a fashion statement as it is a protective garment. Perfect for warmer weather and the upcoming hot summer, this shirt really surprised me. I was complimented several times and had many comments on the shirt itself. I found the check shirt look went well especially with the style bike I ride, which is a Triumph Bobber, so it gives off that retro street kind of vibe one might be looking for on the bike.
It has a CE certification rating of A and comes with level 1 shoulder and elbow armour. It also has a back pocket for those wanting to go further and insert back armour as well. The shirt is made from brushed wool with a fixed mesh lining – RST Moto says that it is an unique exterior fabric blend that incorporates wool, delivering abrasion, tear, and burst strength. There are branded poppers and two outer pockets, perfect for smaller items such as sunglasses, wallet/purse or even a phone. There is also an interior pocket with velcro and cuff adjustors to ensure a snug fit on the wrist.
The shirt itself is very comfortable to wear – my immediate reaction to putting it on was at how lightweight, soft and flexible it felt. Compared to a stiff textile or leather jacket, this shirt gives you that extra freedom to move and you do not feel bogged down in a heavy garment. I found myself gravitating towards the shirt when kitting up for rides out in any temperatures over 18 degrees. I did find if it was not warm out and you did not layer up underneath, you would soon feel the wind chill. In 20 degrees+, it is perfect and will be my go-to on a hot summer day.
