New Subaru Uncharted Becomes Official Safety Car At Donington WorldsbkAll-New Subaru Uncharted Official Safety Car brings electrified performance and sustainability to FIM World Superbike Championship at Donington Park.

The all-new Subaru Uncharted took its all-wheel drive pedigree on track as official safety car supporting the FIM World Superbike Championship rounds at Donington Park. Making its public dynamic debut in the UK, the new fully electric Subaru Uncharted is due for official UK launch in early 2027, with more information available in the coming months.

The new Subaru Uncharted All-Wheel Drive (AWD) undertook track assessments as well as leading grids of WSBK riders and supporting series in sighting laps. The new Subaru Uncharted was on hand for deployment during incidents on Donington Park’s Grand Prix circuit over the three days, and a fleet of new Uncharted models gave high-speed passenger laps to guests at designated points during the weekend.

The Uncharted AWD safety car used on track is a standard road car with Subaru’s permanent Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system, engineered for an electric drivetrain. Delivering an electric range of over 300 miles WLTP, electric motors on the front and rear axles produce a combined torque of around 430 Nm and acceleration from 0 to 62 mph in 5.0 seconds. The Subaru Uncharted AWD used its optional POWER drive mode for optimum sporty performance on the race circuit.

Subaru’s partnership with WorldSBK reflects a shared commitment to technological relevance, sustainability, and lower-emission mobility. Subaru has targeted carbon neutrality across its full lifecycle operations by 2050 and aims to apply electrification technologies during the early 2030s across all Subaru vehicles produced.
